This sucks.
This is lonely.
This is depressing.
This is only just beginning.
I don't know if it's just because all of my friends left town it seems like and I still have class or maybe that this time of year has been difficult for me historically but I really don't want this right now.

I know it's hard, but I hope you'll find some joy on this Christmas Day in a far off place and I'm sure things will brighten up as you go into the new year. What a tremendous experience you're having! It'll be over too soon, trust me.
